About Johnny Walker
Born and raised on Williamson Road in Rock Hill, SC and since 1996 a resident of the same community. I'm happily married, for 29 years, to my wonderful wife Joni Rohr Walker. Joni and I have raised two wonderful children, Kenny and Elizabeth, and we enjoy spending time with grandson Finn. I'm the proud son of Harold and Patsy Burgess Walker. After receiving my Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, I was employed with IBM for 37 years, before retiring in 2019.
Now that I have retired I feel I have the time to focus on a lifetime goal I have of wanting to serve the great State of South Carolina, and I believe serving as a State Representative is my best way of giving back a portion of what South Carolina has graciously provided to me. Please give me this opportunity to serve you and help make York County and South Carolina an even better place to live.
